Is Bona Premium Spray Mop good?
The Bona Premium Spray Mop is not just good, but excellent. Bona has designed the mop to ensure you get a fine mist every time so your floors don’t get over-saturated. A feature I love is the extra large base plate for quicker cleaning and the flexible corners that protect my baseboards and furniture from getting damaged.
I also love the secondary foam grip (in the middle of the pole) for those stuck-on messes that need a little extra work. With the secondary foam grip, you can hold the entire spray mop with two hands.

1. The spray produce fine mist that doesn’t overwet floor
One comment about the Bona Premium Spray Mop you will see over and over again is the spray system. This particular Bona spray mop produces a super fine spray, a gentle mist, if you will.
At the top of the handle, there is a trigger. To spray the cleaning solution onto the floor, all you have to do is to squeeze the trigger and the Bona Premium Spray mop will produce a fine mist onto its cleaning path.
I think this particular feature is underrated, simply because the spray system produces the right amount of cleaning solution that does not overwet floors, which can make cleaning floors a hassle.
Each spray also covers a wide distance, not to mention a good distance! At the same time, however, it doesn’t use a lot of cleaning solution. I have a feeling that one bottle of cleaning liquid will last a long time.
I really appreciate that because it means the Bona Premium Spray Mop will save me more money in the long run. Not only does it produce a fine mist that doesn’t overwet my floors, but it saves the cost of the cleaners.
The bottle filled with the cleaning solution is attached directly to the mop, which makes it a big time saver. I was done in about half the time, as I did not have to “stop and go” as you would with the conventional mop and bucket combination. If you want to get the floor done more efficiently, this tool is a must.

Bona claims that the extra large mop head allows you to clean 40% faster with its spray mop. Measuring 16.5 inches by 4.5 inches, the mop head is large and is designed to get the job done quickly.
Additionally, the mop head pivots, tilts, and spins, allowing you to really get into corners and under furniture. I throw the pad in the washer after I'm done, and it comes out in one piece without fraying or anything.
Overall, I think the extra large head is not a gimmick and truly DOES get the job done faster. I can polish a lot more wood in half the time. And with the extra large head, it’s able to reach areas I never knew existed.
4. The secondary foam grip provides better grip
At first, I thought the secondary foam grip advertised by Bona is purely for marketing and serves no additional value whatsoever. Boy was I wrong. With the foam grip in the middle of the pole, I can handle the mop firmly and stroke the pole swiftly, resulting in a more effective clean in less time.
As advertised, the comfortable secondary grip really does provide extra control! I can really clean up after stubborn stains because I have more power and control over the Bona Premium Spray Mop. Most mops on the market do not have a grip in the middle of the pole, which is a bummer.
5. Integrated hanging hook makes storage super convenient
Last but not least, the Bona Premium Spray Mop is equipped with an integrated hanging hook that is retractable for easy storage. All you have to do is to hang the entire thing on a wall and you’re good to go.
For some people, looking for ways on how to store mops and brooms without a closet is a pain in the behind. But with the Bona Premium Spray Mop, you will save storage space because you can let it hang anywhere.
