  • The dirty water tank is full - Make sure the dirty water tank is not full. Empty the dirty water tank and clean it up if needed.
  • The brush roll cover, dirty water tank, and/or gaskets are not installed correctly - Make sure the brush roll cover, dirty water tank, and gaskets are installed correctly.
  • The dirty water tank, pre-filter, brush chamber, and/or debris channel are blocked - Make sure the dirty water tank, pre-filter, brush chamber, and debris channel are not blocked.

4. Tineco iFloor won’t spray

If Tineco iFloor will not spray, it could mean:

  • Not enough water in the tank - Make sure the clean water tank is at least ⅓ filled with water.
  • The tank is not installed properly - Make sure the clean water tank is installed properly.
  • The spray hole is clogged - Inspect the spray hole at the bottom. Unblock the spray hole with a fine needle if it is clogged. To prevent blockage, it is advisable to fill the clean water tank with distilled water (140°F/60°C MAX). Do not fill the clean water tank with foam detergent.

5. Tineco iFloor water leaks

If Tineco iFloor leaks water, it could mean:

  • Not using the right cleaning solution - Please make sure the solution is right for iFloor. Do not fill the clean water tank with foam detergent.
  • The clean water tank, dirty water tank, brush roll cover, and/or gaskets are not installed correctly - Make sure the every component of Tineco iFloor including the clean water tank, dirty water tank, brush roll cover, and gaskets are installed correctly.
  • The dirty water tank is full - Make sure the dirty water tank is not full. Empty the dirty water tank and clean it up if needed.
  • The dirty water tank, floater, pre-filter, brush chamber, and/or debris channel are blocked - Check the dirty water tank, floater, pre-filter, brush chamber, and debris channel for obstructions to make sure they are not blocked. 

6. Tineco iFloor makes unusual noise

If Tineco iFloor is making an unusual noise, check the dirty water tank to make sure it is not full. Next, check the brushroll cover, dirty water tank, and gaskets to make sure they are installed correctly. Lastly, check the dirty water tank, pre-filter, brush chamber, debris channel to make sure they are not blocked.

7. Tineco iFloor smells bad

Tineco iFloor can smell bad if you do not clean the dirty water tank, brush roll, and motor periodically, causing odor-causing bacteria to thrive on the dirt and moisture left behind.

To stop Tineco iFloor from smelling bad, clean the dirty water tank, brush roll, and motor thoroughly. Make sure to remove the dirt and moisture. To prevent odor, clean them after each use.

It is also important to store Tineco iFloor indoors in a dry place. Do not expose the machine to sunlight or freezing temperature. The recommended temperature range is between 39.2°F(4°C) to 104°F( 40°C).

1. Tineco iFloor won’t charge

If Tineco iFloor won’t charge, either the charger adaptor is not right for the machine or the charger adaptor is not plugged in correctly. Make sure you are only charging the battery with the included charging adaptor.

If you are using the correct adaptor but the problem still persists, try using another socket and check the LED light indicator to see if Tineco iFloor is charging properly. The blue light indicator should light up for more than 10 seconds, indicating that the Tineco iFloor is charging properly.

Verify if the power voltage is in the AC 100-240v range. Both high and low voltages can damage the charging adaptor or the machine, even cause danger to the user.

The Tineco iFloor also will not charge if either the charger adaptor or the vacuum cleaner is overheating while charging. Let the charger adaptor and the vacuum cleaner cool down, then try again.

2. Tineco iFloor red light flashes during charging
