How to remove and replace O-Cedar mop head

To remove the O-Cedar mop head from the base, simply stretch the base with your hand to make it larger while pulling the microfiber mop head apart. The O-cedar microfiber mop head will simply pop off the base.

Alternatively, you can also remove the O-Cedar microfiber mop pad by stepping on the strands with one foot and pulling the handle upwards away from your foot to separate the base from the mop head.

To replace the O-Cedar microfiber mop head, align the microfiber mop head with base and push down until it snaps securely in place. That’s how easy it is to replace the O-Cedar mop head with a new one.

How to clean and wash O-Cedar mop head

O-Cedar microfiber mop pads are machine washable. To clean the O-Cedar mop pads simply machine or hand wash them in warm water and lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

O-Cedar microfiber mop refills are durable and easy to change. Ideally, you should replace the O-Cedar microfiber mop pad once every season or once every three months (quarterly) to ensure cleanliness.

How to clean O-Cedar mop bucket

After using the mop, pour both the dirty and clean water from the O-Cedar mop bucket into a toilet drain. Remove the fresh water tank from the bucket and rinse it with clean, fresh water. Once the entire bucket has been rinsed, flip the tank upside down (with the cap open) and allow it to air dry.

With the fresh water tank removed, take the main bucket (dirty water tank) and rinse it thoroughly with clean, fresh water. If you have never cleaned the bucket and it’s very dirty, take the time to wash the main bucket with a sponge and soap until it is clean. Flip the tank upside down and leave it to dry.

However, because you are dealing with liquid and moisture on a regular basis, the needle bearing inside the pedal assembly can become rusty or damaged. As a result, the spinning mop mechanism may not spin properly. If that is the case, you’ll need to replace the needle bearing with a new one.
