How To Attach or Replace a Mop Pad – Swiffer WetJet

This article will help you on attaching your cleaning pad to your mop.

We will use pictures and videos to demonstrate how to attach a mop pad to the Swiffer WetJet Mop. 

1. Identify The Mop Pad. 

The cleaning pad mop side will have a color line down the middle of the pad. 

The attaching side will have two Velcro lines at the end of the pad side. We attach this side of the pad to the mop.

2. Identify The Mop Head Velcro Strips. 

The Swiffer WetJet mop head will have two Velcro strips on each side—one on the bottle and one on the top. 

3. Attach The Cleaning Pad.

Line the cleaning pad strips to the Velcro strips on the mop head. 

4. Press Firmly

Press firmly to attach the pad to the mop head with your hands. I also like to press down on the floor before mopping.

As you can see, attaching the mop back to the mop is easier than it may seem. Changing your cleaning pad regularly will ensure you have a clean floor every time you use your mop.
